  • Crosby Tailor - The Fit Cookie
  • A BIT ABOUT ME.

When I was a young kid, my mom would make homemade sugar cookies for my birthday. Every year they were formed in the number of the age I was turning that year, so individual cookies in the shape of the number five, six, seven, etc. After turning nine I realized that when I turned ten I would get two whole cookies. And so began my sweet tooth.

After college I took a deep dive into nutrition. I started paying attention to all of the extra ingredients we eat now (at an alarming rate), mass refined sugar consumption, followed by highly refined flours and seed oils. I decided to cut them out of my diet. I also cut out low quality ingredients, highly processed foods and anything that caused huge glucose spikes, inflammation or digestive issues. I really began to hack the system and listen to my body. I began to feel healthier, my gut health improved, brain fog vanished, and my energy returned.

The consumer market has been flooded with ‘healthy’ desserts that are free of this and that, but also free of that home made taste, texture and joy that desserts are supposed to have. I decided I needed to fill that void and create delicious desserts that remind you of your youth, and also won't set you back on your health and fitness goals. I set to work swapping out harmful ingredients in classic recipes for higher quality substitutes, and managed to keep the same delicious texture and accurate flavors that represent the desserts from our childhoods.

Now, I am super proud to introduce The Fit Cookie Mix and The Fit Baker dessert book!

    -

The Fit Cookie Mix comes in 2 flavors of maple sweetened oatmeal chocolate chip and a sugar free base mix for limitless cookie creations. The Fit Baker cookbook includes 50 desserts that are free of refined sugar, gluten and vegetable oils. They boast super fats like grass fed butter, ghee and mct oil. And a balanced macronutrient approach to stabilize blood sugar and energy levels. Some recipes are also made with high quality proteins like collagen, grass fed whey and gut healing colostrum powder. There is no shortening here. The long held ‘rule’ that desserts need to be considered cheats or treats is being rewritten. It’s time to have your cake and eat it too!

  • I have immersed myself in the health, wellness, and fitness space for many years. Along my journey of optimizing my health and fixing my gut, I have developed a healthy and disciplined relationship with food. I see food as fuel; if you put the right nutrients in, they’ll keep you strong and vital. Well, why not create desserts that do that too? I taught myself to bake healthy desserts and what started out as a hobby, has transformed into a passion to help others become their own healthy baker. The result is my dessert cookbook “The Fit Baker,’ and line of baking mixes.
